Read moreBefore (in 2018) it was way better than now, although the appetizers buffet is tasteless, yet, the was variety of meat and different grilling level, the service was great by lovely Philipino waiter his name was Chris if I’m not mistaken, he explained the pricing options and made the experience nice because of his hospitality. Unfortunately in this visit it was way less,
Service: 1- no specific waiter is assigned for the table, therefore, we didn’t know about the different pricing options, and no one was available to serve us when needed, instead, different waiters go around to ask if everything is ok while we are eating which is annoying because whenever we needed them to order drinks, bill.. etc they take forever to show up.
Food: 1- it is surprising to see that the grill options are now much less than before and dripping blood, I asked if there are any options (well done) or anything that is not bloody they kept saying yes ma’am yes ma’am but never seen it, I couldn’t eat and eventually I had to go back to the tasteless salad bar to fill my empty stomach before leaving.
2- they go around the tables with the leftovers of the grill when only fat is left! Once it’s almost empty don’t keep going around, it is not enough for one person so it’s time to go back to the kitchen and get a new one.
My advice is to assign specific waiter for each table so the costumer don’t feel forgotten about and receive...
Read moreMy previous experience with such restaurants was in Jedda: Brasa de Brazil, so naturally, I had to make a comparison. Brasa wins. In Brasa it was a non-stop race. The staff will keep putting meat in your plate as long as your marker is green. Literally NON-STOP. Here you put your marker on green and hope for the best. Most of the times I had to look for one of staff and beg for some attention. Also, food is not abundant. The 👨🍳 came with shrimps. But all he could afford were 3 medium sized ones. I had a tight schedule on that day. After I tried what I believed all they had to offer, I requested to re-tase one of the items I liked, but they said I had to wait. Another point where BdB wins is that they had some rare items: deer, and ostrich. Texas did not. Also not much variety regarding the parts, and how they cooked the available meet. They had 2 choices. Either open buffet of meat and salad alone, or add an extra 50 SAR and get drinks and desserts. Normally I don't eat desserts, or soft drinks. But I made an exception this time so that I can judge. The dessert menu you had to choose only one peace out of 5! I thought that was cheap. I ordered one Mojito and it was fine. At the end I had one espresso which was OK. Regarding the taste, that was mostly very delicious. The meat was soft and tender except maybe once. The atmosphere was cosy. The staff were polite...
