Allo Beirut - Sahara Mall — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

I visited Allo Beirut for breakfast today, but unfortunately missed the breakfast special that ends at 11:30 am. We ordered the regular breakfast instead.

Unfortunately, I was not fully satisfied with the food. The grilled halloumi was too salty, and the vegetables, especially the cucumber, seemed to have been cut ahead of time and were dry.

The Eggplant Fatteh dish was also disappointing. It was heavily seasoned with garlic and eggplant tasted like it had been fried in advance and refrigerated, making it cold and unappetizing. I could only manage to eat one spoonful.

On a positive note, the Mankish (one zaatar and cheese, the other with sujuk and cheese) was good, with a tasty dough.

Overall, despite being a lover of Lebanese cuisine, this visit to Allo Beirut did not meet the standard I would expect for the price point.

A few areas for improvement:

Serve freshly baked bread instead of packaged supermarket bread.

Include a plate of fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumber, mint, olives) to accompany the Manakish.

Improve the quality and freshness of the cooked dishes, especially the halloumi and eggplant

I hope the restaurant can address these issues to provide a more consistent and enjoyable...

I went with my family to have dinner today and from the get go was treated with very poor service. We were very excited to try this new restaurant as we would always talk about it whenever we passed it.

I usually have less stringent requirements for customer service but this experience has made want to nit-pick.

We showed ourselves to the table which is unusual for a restaurant that is pricey. We were not greeted by any server did not let us know how to access the menu or anything. We scanned the QR code and discussed in what to order and waited for more than 20 minutes. No one batted an eye or approached us letting know they would be with us shortly.

I understand that the restaurant was busy and servers were understaffed. But, I will not forgive this because right as we were about to leave we let one of the servers know that we were blatantly ignored and our order was not taken even after almost half an hour of waiting. To this he replied with a hum and walked away.

I believe that I saved my money as the food was not cheap and I would not have enjoyed it anyway due to the unpeakable customer service. I will not be...

I had an absolutely amazing time at Allo Beirut — easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, everything was on point: the atmosphere, the cleanliness, and the welcoming vibe all stood out right away.

The food was simply incredible. Every dish was packed with authentic flavor, freshly prepared. I especially loved the chicken fajita sandwich, which was a perfect. Whether you're a fan of classic Lebanese dishes or just love good food, Allo Beirut delivers on every level.

Special shoutout to our waiter, Akhtar — he was outstanding! Friendly, professional, and very attentive without being overbearing. His warm attitude and helpful recommendations made the experience even better. Service like his truly adds value to a meal.

Prices were a bit high, portions generous, and everything came out quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Lebanese cuisine with excellent service.
