Read moreSwiss Butter Restaurant truly stood out as an exceptional dining experience for me. Tucked away in the heart of the city, this establishment is more than just a place to grab a meal
Upon entering, we were greeted by the warm, cozy ambiance that perfectly complemented the intimate character of the restaurant. The rustic wooden décor and dim lighting immediately set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
To start, we indulged in the restaurant's famous beef fillet & rib eye steak with salad & fries as sides ( i love the fries though). The meat was tender but I didn't like much the sauce.
The service at Swiss Butter Restaurant was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable about the dishes and was attentive. Our server even provided recommendations based on our preferences, enhancing our dining experience. Special mention to Jason.
To top it all off, the dessert selection was exceptional. We savored the delectable pain perdu & twas a right blend of caramel on a pudding like base ( i supposed pain perdu is a french toast) but this one is more like a pudding with a caramel sauce & vanilla icecream yet its so good ❤️❤️❤️

Beware of the following: Imagine asking for butter for bread and being told it is against Restuarant policy. That answer works in a falafel place not a place called “Swiss Butter” 😂 If you are unfortunate enough to ask for the rest of your meal to be packed, they will remove the sauce, since again, as per Restuarant policy, “the sauce never leaves the Restuarant” even for takeaway orders.
But by far the most insulting part of the experience was asking for the bill three times and then being exposed to more lies. At that point, my best option was to just do a quick calculation to which I left SAR 250 under the plate — my wife thinks that I overpaid, she is probably right. But for me, I made the choice to enter that Restuarant. That was my mistake completely. But what they did, trying to insult my intelligence is on them.
I just hope they learn from this.
No butter, no sauce leaving the Restuarant as per policy. Fine. I respect that. But respect my request to pay for my meal and walk away. Don’t waste my time with silly excuses — thinking you’re...
