The level of dishonesty and deception here is appalling. The menu is deliberately misleading—from the photos to the actual portions served. For example, their image of the “Tajin” shows a large, generous platter clearly meant to serve multiple people. What I received instead was a small, underwhelming individual plate. When I asked the guy at the counter why there’s such a huge discrepancy between what’s advertised and what’s served, he shrugged and said, “What do you want me to do about it?”—a completely dismissive, arrogant response that shows they have zero regard for the customer’s trust or satisfaction.
On top of that, the place fails miserably in basic hygiene. As I walked in, I immediately noticed employees handling food without gloves, some touching their faces, others working in an environment that looked unclean and neglected. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a seafood place where cleanliness is crucial due to the sensitive nature of the food.
To make things worse, the prices are unjustifiably high—far more expensive than other seafood spots in the area—yet the portion sizes are small, the service is careless, and the experience is insulting. Seafood is already a delicate product that requires care, freshness, and proper presentation. Bahrya delivers none of that, only excuses and inflated prices.
Bottom line: This is not just a bad restaurant—it’s a scam dressed up as a seafood joint. Save your money, your health, and your dignity. There are far better, more honest places out there. Avoid Bahrya...
Read moreThis place is big and clean and the fish is slightly over priced. If you know thing or two about fish you will observe the fish they serve is quite old actually. We tried hammour, shaor and king fish grilled they were prepared very well. The staff will mislead you if they found you don't know about fishes. We caught them by when we ordered extra hammour and they were running out of hammour and they were trying to give us seabass but we refused to take and they apologized. The staff is not professional at all, you really have to ask them several times to serve you water or any cold drink. The place is big, clean and nice but the staff needs to improve a lot. It's a once try restaurant only can't be highly...
Read moreI came to this place last night and went directly to the counter to place the order. I noticed a little racism at the counter guy face. I chose to ignore. Then I saw other people coming in and all were taken order and everything at their respective tables. So today am here again and decided to be at the table and wait for this guy. The restaurant is empty and it's been over 10 mins but none has bothered to take down the order. In a blossoming economy like KSA, restaurant owners should avoid having racist and biased staff especially one that has an excellent...
