Hala Hot Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

I'm not starving but I want something to eat.

You know craving for Comfort food and a late dinner. So we tried this new resto here in Sulimanya Area.

First the atmosphere of the restaurant is a little bit hot. I don't know if the AC is working during our visit.

The place is quite spacious but not the best interior design compare to the nearest restaurants.

We ordered a familiar pasta but it didn't met our expectations. Taste was unrecognizable,compared to the Alfredo pasta I know which is my favorite but not this.

Their Spicy Korean fried chicken was just spicy but yeah its crispy outside, tender inside. That's the only thing I liked about the food we ordered. But it doesn't taste Korean Style at all.

Iced tea was not the best.

I did not check their Comfort room.

Staffs are attentive though lacking of greetings and smile.

First of all, the owner and all the staff were very nice and friendly. The staff helped explain what items to put, helped make a sauce. The place is very clean, small but cute with a nice atmosphere. The food was good. I recommend getting only the spicy hotpot soup. I only ordered beef options, which were nice. Fried beef is not a part of the hotpot but I recommend it. There were several vegetable and starch options too. Price depends on how much of whatever you want, they provide you with a paper to choose. They also had several toppings and sauces you could get up and add. You could also get up and get drinks from their fridge which also had some Chinese teas, etc. Overall, was a good experience and I would recommend it especially because of nice staff and owner. This place was at best average. The food was good but service was terrible. It took like 10 minutes when the one guy that was running the entire restaurant came to us and said are you ready to order, then he realised he hadn’t even given us our menu, about an hour later our food arrives, it was good, the hotpot chicken was very good but we ordered noodles and they didn’t come, then about an hour later the guy comes and says, sorry we don’t have noodles, so we get the steamed buns instead but of course they don’t come after 30 hour. Now as we’re about to leave, we have finished the food that was given, the guy brings us indomie noodles. On the bill, he charged us for the noodles that came after we finished everything else.
