Paul — Restaurant in Riyadh Region

I recently visited Paul Cafe at Park Avenue Mall, and while the service was perfec! attentive and friendly! I was a bit disappointed with my order. I expected the coffee, croissant, and chocolate twist to be at a higher standard based on the cafe's reputation.

The coffee was good but not exceptional, and the croissant lacked the flakiness I was hoping for. The chocolate twist was enjoyable, but again, it didn't quite meet my expectations.

I’ve been to several Paul branches in Riyadh. Since they employed Egyptian staff their service has declined noticeably. Our waiter brought our food before bringing a bread basket. I reminded him of the bread basket and he said it’s coming??? The bread basket is supposed to come before the meal. The hot chocolate came cold. We ordered a few slices of cake and pastries, macchiato and Cappuccino. The Cappuccino is bland and doesn't even tastes Coffee, we requested to have it replaced. I spoke to 3 female staff at the counter and the female Caucasian seems a bit nice and a bit sarcastic when I asked how the drinks are made. It was replaced but the taste is the same, bland. We immediately left and looked for another coffee shop.
