My team spent 450 euros at this establishment - and the host really ruined the night by revealing his true character.

The host pampered my team with free alcohol (which we did not ask for) and over the top service (which we did not ask for either, just regular normal service would have sufficed) - at the end of the night he felt justified to scold us for not giving him a huge tip in spite of the 450 euros he just earned from us. Such greed! The “good service” turned out to be just a charade that was conditional upon being entitled to a huge tip or you would - and I quote - “disrespect the host”. He even told us “not to drink schnapps next time then”.

I feel compelled to inform the community about this incident - even though I do not leave bad reviews until something truly awful happens - such as in this case. Stay away unless you like being treated condescendingly and unfairly, I’m sure that there are other cheese fondue restaurants in Berlin that serve food and a sincerely good atmosphere without a side of condescension and...

A great winter experience. On the Haubentaucher ground close to warschauerstr. Until At least January 31.st, 2019. Give this place a try! We came for our Christmas get-together here, although I am not a fondue fan, I was increasingly surprised by how delicious the food and cheese fondue here was. We started with drinks. Appetizers were both for vegetarian and meat. Then we had three different type of cheese fondue, strong, mild and with truffle. I can speak only for the mild and truffles, both were fantastic. I thought the service was very friendly, the presentation was beautiful, the place is packed so reservation is a must. There is very WiFi. Life music. For the toilettes you would need to go outside and walk 70 meters, but they are very clean.if you find my review useful, kindly press the like button...

Awful experience. I was very excited to try vegan fondue, but it felt like everything went wrong that night. We were sat outside inside this weird ski lift thing.The server was absent - had to open the doors to get his attention. The other server was outright rude to us, making sarcastic remarks and snapback comments on our questions. He even came back to rant about the tip! The food itself was mediocre. The appentizer, the only vegan option at least, was awful. Just tasteless and didn't go well together at all. The fondue was alright, but the bread was not good. We had to pay extra for anything beyond. For the price, for a dinner for 2, was ludicrous. Their website even said $26/person and we were charged closer to $32/person. Absolute sham of a place overall, and the worst fondue experience...
