La Plage Dakar — Restaurant in Dakar

La Plage is one of my Dakar staples. It was my favorite restaurant for a while, but in recent times it’s become less consistent. Lately, they almost never have the full menu, which is quite annoying at times. Also, we’ve stopped getting the “planche Carnegie” because the kitchen just never cooks the meat medium rare no matter how much we insist (and we’ve insisted a TON). It’s always well done.

I am really sad that I’m writing this because this this part has been my favorite in a while. I’ve been coming to la plagr every single time I come over dakar since 2018 but recently the management has went to shit. The new waitresses are really, really rude. I had an incident where I accidentally broke my glass and I was met with such such rudeness when I’ve been A loyal client for years.
