It had great ambiance, and excellent pineapple curry chicken. Excellent grilled fish. Cold beer. Moderately priced.

Returned to Jet cafe. There were no guards out front so the begging was exponentially high. Kids grabbing at you for change. One kid wanted 10,000 cfa. Service was pretty horrible. Many people working, no one wanted to give us a menu. I got tired of trying to flag down a waitress or waiter I got my own menu out of a stack of them nearby. Ordered at the bar. Maybe that is the new process. Food just was ok. A few waiters stopped afterwards. Not a very friendly crowd. More regulars and half empty. Nice view of the ocean. Not sure it’ll go back. I had a burger, 2.5 out of 5. Pineapple chicken curry was good 4/5. Small portion. Neems were good. I Knocked off a star due to the service and...

Jet Cafe Beach marked the very first outing of my 2-day stay in Dakar, Senegal. We went as a family and this place was just on point for us to neutralize the cold, eat and either watch the sun kiss the sea, or feets ride the ski. The food was awesome - let’s keep it at that. The service is where I had a bit of a problem because of language barrier. I had a bit of French to go by, but no staff could speak as much English as I did French. Well, Google translator helped a bit much. The atmosphere was good. Light music, beautiful view, great white ambience with a glow of love all around to give that perfect picturesque....

Please don’t order drinks. My first drink was really bad it had no flavor I toke on sip and knew it was not for me. We told the waiter he toke the drink and I requested a piña colada. The piña colada was also terrible but I did not return it because I felt defeated. I got the check and they choose to charge me for both drinks a total of 12.000 CFA. This place is no good and have no consideration for the guests and service. I don’t...

Breathtaking atmosphere in white and fairy lights along the beach. What more can one want. The views are spectacular especially in the evening. Great service. The food is very tasty and the portions are huge. However if you are not a fan of garlic, you might not enjoy the fish here for garlic is one of the main ingredients of their fish dishes. The atmosphere is still worth the visit though...
