Restaurant Korean Arisu — Restaurant in Dakar

The taste really did not disappoint! The fried dumplings are very good. The staff is patient, very polite and friendly and the food was served fast enough. Besides, the free side dishes (which are delicious) make it so that you barely feel the waiting at all. The place is cosy but still very lively. It can get loud when it's a bit crowded which didn't bother me at all (I really enjoyed the energy it brought despite the fact that I usually prefer quieter dining spaces) but it's good to know if you don't enjoy that atmosphere. I like that they label their best dishes on the menu; it helps with the order, especially if you are not familiar with Korean food. I was really charmed by the call buttons they have on the tables. I find it very original and practical! Lastly, the meals are definitely quite expensive. However, the taste and portion size really fit the prices overall. I strongly recommend it and will visit...

Arrivé à 21h10, nous avions été servi alors que le restaurant ferme habituellement à 22h00. Attentions les cuisiniers partent à 21h30. Nous avions été bien accueillis malgré notre arrivée tardive.

Les petites entrées étaient sympathiques en bouche avant les plats le tout accompagné d'un soja qui est un alcool local.

Les plats étaient bien servis, colorés et avec une très bonne odeur en plus d'un goût vraiment riche en arômes et épices. La serveuse a fait une erreur, on avait commandé une soupe de bœuf avec des nouilles pour avoir une soupe au bœuf et épices, c'est pas grave ça restait très bon de toute façon. Le riz est un riz gros grain de très bonne qualité mais servi en petite portion.

S'agit-il d'une cuisine coréenne traditionnelles ? Pour avoir mangé 2 fois coréens sur 2 continents hors asie, je ne saurai pas vous répondre mais c'était encore une fois très bon.

Pour les allergiques aux moustiques, sur la terrasse extérieure et couverte, vous aurez des encens sous vos pieds pour protéger vos mollets (le diable se trouve dans les détails)! Petit bémol, pas de poulet au menu néanmoins le bœuf restait un bon choix sur la carte qui est très volumineuse. L'addition était honnête, proche des 30000 pour 2plats, un soju (6000) et une grande bouteille d'eau.

Vous aurez du choix au Korean Arisu et on y retournera prochainement afin de tester le reste.

P.s le bœuf au soja et piment avec les légumes était vraiment super sympas ainsi que la soupe au bœuf était...

Authentic asian cuisine next to the ocean at reasonable prices.The food was amazing and the owner very friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that they refused to bring us the check. We asked 3 times including getting up and finding the waiter to ask again. After 45 minutes of waiting and no check, two of us went inside and stood there until they let us pay. Very bizarre. I trust this was not normal and still give 5 stars. Everything else...
