The decor is very a la mode and the plating is nice. We went for brunch, the plates have a good amount of food. It seems that it's common in Dakar for eggs to be very undercooked (maybe this is a French thing?). The whole table asked for over easy eggs and in anticipation that they would be undercooked, we explained that we were looking for the egg white to be cooked through, the waiter said oh yes over easy with the runny yolk - he seemed to understand perfectly. They brought sunny side up eggs that were barely cooked. Two of us also asked for no meat with our order and the waiter said no problem and that he would add cheese instead. They brought us the meals with meat and when we told them we asked for no meat, they gave us a side plate to pick it out ourselves... I did not appreciate this at all.

If you are looking for good food of Dakar Senegal I do not recommend. i was taking pictures for this review and the waitress came to me immediately to tell me i could not video. i explained i wasn’t videoing i was taking pictures. But the 2 Chinese ladies who was sitting right next to the counter had their phones, taking videos but they were never approached. Read moreThe kind of place we like to go but we don’t know why…. I could be critical of their bad running of the place, 2nd review… not my first visit at all… the worst in the service industry is when waitress to be direct with this place, spend more time on their phone and work with their phones in hand! Seating face to the corridor going to the loo, a waitress spent more then 2hours hiding from « I don’t know who » as guests are everywhere and passing her to go to the toilets… with her phone playing Charing with other’s staff members… Sad as if she was just paying more attention to her surroundings she might make more tips doing a job well done (like cleaning the dust from very dirty fake flowers, or the chandelier)Anyway this is the virus of the country as the work isn’t so important to them! Lucky I like the feeling of the messy...
