To begin with... I have only ever written 3 other reviews ever for any restaurant, please take into account that I've eaten all over the world at small mom and pop places three bus Michelin Star restaurants in New York, Paris and Las Vegas. Babaroga had great good... Period. Service is abysmal. Be there for it. Early lunch at 12:00 noon and only four table seated having our appetizer was incorrect, or side dishes incorrect, and forgetting to serve wine that was requested and giving me the bill is unforgivable. If you're going to be accommodating business professionals and the like, this is not the place to do it because the service itself will leave you embarrassed! The owner should be embarrassed. Prices are on par for the quality of the food but a far cry from the actual service... which should match. We went to test it for a very important business dinner. Needless to say they will never be seeing us again. Such a shame, but the owner really should take into account that if his team cannot service four tables (on a Sunday), what is happening at...
Read moreBabaroga has also known as a hag with a the horn on her forehead. So interesting naming for a steakhouse 😁 The place is curious, but a rather harsh place both in its interior and in the serving of dishes. I would call it simply high-quality and delicious but without frills. At the same time, there is a fairly high price compared to other meat/steak restaurants. For your information, the meat is presented with not much marbling, whether it is dry aging or positions from the ordinary menu, but it is cooked very well. Portions are large. For example, when you will order a salad with steak, one person can have dinner and get completely sated. There is a certain emphasis on cheddar cheese and arugula in the menu as a decoration or flavor accent. This is a restaurant for meetings of business partners accompanied by their beautiful companions. For children, it will be boring and too "grown-up". The waiters speak a mixture of English and Serbian. It is...
Read moreUnfortunately my worst experiene in Serbia ! We ate a recommended T-bone steak, water, fries and a salad. For me it was the first time that just coudnt eat fries, it was teriabale - felt like they fell into to salt and served to us anyway. The tomato salad was just a tomato sliced to 8 with some some salt - can't understand it. The steak was barely eatable, some parts were rare and some alomst well done, and most importantly - it didn't taste well !!! The total was an absord 7850 which is 3 times the price of a normal good meal. I would also mentioned that our waiter was a young nice man, but he didn't check on us even once after we got the food. About 70 precent of the food left uneaten Not recommended !!...
