Dont trust locals telling you this is good asian food, poor souls never probably even tried good asian food. FOOD IS TERRIBLE. I dont know about the service, I only ordered food from this restaurant and nothing was as it was supposed to be. At first they only delivered soups (but ok that was fault of delivery), then they came with rest of the food and boy even I as non asian can cook asian food better (too bad I was sick that day and didnt). Rice with eggs(aka fried rice) we got normal rice delivered. But paid full price. The crab meat were just crab sticks that contain unknown % of actual crab meat so fake af for 600 dinars+. My veggie fried mix was just bathed in the soy sauce... This is the third and probably last disappointment in chinese food in Serbia. DONT eat here, DONT eat any chinese food in Serbia as they dont know how to make it. (no offense but you could probably cook yourself a better meal following a google recipe than eating this). Waste your money on something else. Buy burgers or pljeskavica and fries instead.
And to the owners and chefs from here, please, stop cooking. You can't fry frozen asian mix of veggies on a pan, bath it in 1L of soy sauce and call it and try to sell it as asian food. That's an insult to all the tastes that asian food has. Internet is full of great fast food chefs sharing their secrets how to cook so even monkey can do it.
And to everyone that wants to eat chinese food - just buy ingredients in idea, maxi, univerexport and cook it yourself. It would probably...
Read moreRestaurant looks a bit old, seats are shabby. Hot and sour soup is just broth with basically nothing inside: only some cucumber and carrots slices, though I guess this is what you get for the price of 200din. I think it’d be worth adding some extra ingredients and selling it for 300din than this.
I had dvenvi meni meal (pork with rice, veggies and sauce), mix of meat and veggies in sauce is actually quite okay, but felt like it was floating in oil at some point. Rice was dry on the outer part, like it stayed on the plate uncovered for a while.
Coffee is just okay, nothing special.
Waiter is cool.
Music doesn’t fit Chinese restaurant as it’s just some Serbian music but not that it bothers me, just general review.
Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t visit this place again. If for not okayish pork I’d put 1. Not super expensive, but you eat in some better place...
Read moreThe restaurant is tidy, and I appreciate the unique presentation of the dishes. However, I must share some constructive feedback.
The predominant flavor in the dishes seems to be soy sauce, which overpowers the other ingredients. This is evident not only in taste but also in aroma. Additionally, while some ingredients like mushrooms are fresh, others, particularly the vegetables, appear to be thawed.
Considering the vibrant culinary scene in Novi Sad, there are other Chinese restaurants that offer a more balanced and flavorful experience. Therefore, I would recommend exploring those...
