Green Pub — Restaurant in Štúrovo

Mixed feelings. I was hesitating between 3 and 2, but since I got drunk there... Bad things: Came in to have a Guinness, but it was off season (February 2024), so they did not have it. I took Hoegaarden first, it was kinda warm, did not enjoy it. Stinky, ugly and broken toilets. It is a smoking place. As a passionate non-smoker, I did not realize, it is allowed to smoke in pubs in SK. So when I opened the door, I thought, I will die (this feeling faded after a few beer and hours...) Anyway, you still have to burn your clothes when you come home... Good things: A lot...a lot of beer for such a small town and place. The nearest place you can have this menu of beer is Budapest. Except Hoegaarden, all other beer tasted good. They accept cards for payments. They close at midnight, even in weekdays, which is so rare for such small town. Staff is okayish, could be better (not sure if this is a good thing:)).

Perfect place, good beers and good service. The great advantage of sometimes not really enough sitting inside is the possibility of having a beer outside :-) Well, it's worth it. Good beer with good people, without stress and hurry, you don't need even more sometimes. Let meet the locals and have a beer with visitors....

Great service. Very hospitable place. The owner greets visitors himself and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. Loved the great selection of beers and music. Definitely a must to visit...
