Poke bistro Nivy — Restaurant in Bratislava

A very disappointing experience to say the least. The price to quality ratio is astonishingly poor and so are the portions.

Firstly the quality, I ordered a Tuna Poke bowl, I am no "poke" expert but tossing vegetables with meat into a bowl doesn't create a poke, although the visual presentation was initially very pleasing I quickly came to a more sinister realization that my poke isn't as good as it looks. My tuna meat tasted like shrimp which I soon realized might have something to do with what looked like loose shrimp shell bits along the dish, otherwise the tuna meat itself was alright but again no sauce, no seasoning, no nothing to it. The avocado pieces were really sad to say the least, they had "bad" parts which either got bad due to expiry dates or handling, either way they looked old. Suprisingly the rice was very good, not overcooked nor undercooked and other ingredients were ok as well, but with the minimal amount of sauce, seasoning or marinate which lasted for about one bite even the good ingredients couldn't salvage the dish as it was incredibly bland.

The waiting time and order distribution is far from perfect too, with waiting times of 15+ minutes and no ticket system which makes it incredibly chaotic as calling out a dish name that 3 people in queue have ordered back to back makes it impossible to distinguish who the dish is even meant for.

Comparing to other Poke places I have went to this must be the most underwhelming one yet (out of a sample size of at least 10) suprisingly with the highest prices as well, granted the nivy rent is probably not cheap either, but that is not a excuse for poor...

Raz som si kupil jedlo vo vedlajsom stanku a potom som si siel este kupit bowl k tomu. Zabudol som si na prve jedlo dat srirachu tak som si dal srirachu z poke stanku. Tetulka blondie sa ma v momente spytala ci som si u nich kupil jedlo, pritom som ho par sekund pred tym pred nou zaplatil, zjavne sa jej nepacilo ze som minal svoju davku srirachy na iny tanier (na poke som si srirachu nedal). Radsej keby trosku pohli sebou clovek tam caka do nemoty na jednu malu misku prevazne surovych surovin, keby varili nic nepoviem.

A dalsi krat ked som prisiel okolo 14 tak mi bolo povedane ze musim na poke pockat aspon 25 minut, zrejme sa rozhodli tetulky ist vsetky spolu na obed… jak keby sa nemohli prestriedat, asi pri nom potrebuju poklebetit alebo si zahrat mikado. Pritom za tu cenu jedla a taku malu porciu by som cakal proaktivny a vludnejsi pristup.

Tazko sa mi sem vracia lebo uz len ked ich vidim, zacinam byt vytoceny z toho jak sa tam spomalene motaju, myslim ze cely zivot maximalne umyvali riady v kuchyni a mali by sa k tomu asi aj vratit. Radsej by som uvital particku indov alebo vietnamcov s ktorymi by som si ani nerozumel ale svoju pracu by si urobili poctivo nie jak tieto lemry ofucane.
