The Nook — Restaurant in Bratislava

The Nook is located very close to the main Nivy bus station, making it an ideal spot for a quick breakfast or coffee break. The interior is warm and cozy, with books available for reading, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly and humorous waiter, which set a positive tone for our visit. I ordered an espresso lungo, which was quite good. For breakfast, I opted for the avocado dish, featuring two eggs served over a slice of excellent-tasting bread with avocado slices. With just a pinch of salt it was delicious.

I arrived around 11 AM, when the restaurant wasn't full at all. The restaurant surprised me with beautiful interior, fast service and mostly - with the amazing food! The restaurant is offering lunch menus, with a mix of Slovak menu classics, something sweet and also something a bit fancy (like the duck breasts I had). The dishes have a bit of a modern twist, which I really enjoyed, because I could feel the thoughtful choice of ingredients and craftsmanship...

Nice and cultured place in the middle of office buildings perfect for breakfast, brunch and lunch during weekday. I had honest and luxurious like grandma's bean soup with smoked pork pieces. Amazing. And for the main dish I had really soft pork loin on mustard sauce. Usually loin is quite dry, but this one was super tender with the touch of exquisite taste of mustard. Definitely recommend.
