Ill give the place 5* as I want to see asian businesses flourish here as I love the cuisine.
I feel like the owners underestimated the local market:
Prices are high ( I know that cost of doing biz is high too) for what I am getting They tried to reset the ratings which people noticed quickly From my understanding the key element here is the broth that is super authentic and high quality but nobody really knows about it. Means the owners failed to educate the customer
Apart from getting the ramen there really is not a reason to hangout in the restaurant for much longer.
My suggestion to the owner: Increasing the portion from what I heard was a good step Try to get some "freebie" in there to smoothen the experience. Something like a free japanase tea, lower the cost of adding an egg etc.
I feel like ramen as a product is really in the tight spot given the local competition of other ramen places + Pho. Many people will not look at it as an authentic and different japanese experience but will simply compare the price/benefit ratio of a soup with protein.
Actually I think you guys missed the market completely. A place like Kenshin Izakaya (japanese themed beer pub) would be a much better fit here. Add japanese + local beer and couple it with the selection of simple fried dishes like the skewers Butasoki Yaki, Enokibacon Yaki and...
Read moreThe owners made a mistake that they wanted to salvage initial uproar regarding smaller portions and bigger prices with deleting their profile again and again. I think they learned the hard way. Not everybody understands how this works when they start the business. But if you have time to give a bad review repeatedly just to make a point to a business that is starting and struggling with initial launch, it seems more petty to me than having high standars. I agree with the portion to price ratio being a bit disproportionate during the first week (although most probably authentically japanese size wise), but I also heared from a friend that went there more times that they already added one more slice of meat into the ramen since then. Let's not get too crazy aboute price judging. Ramens are around 15 euro everywhere.
To somebody who have never been and wants to try it: Go for it! It is in no way 3 star ramen. It is very delicious and the staff is very nice. The matcha ice cream was as potent as in Japan.
To all the righteous moral police here: Take a chill pill. You are not doing anyone a favour. You are trying to destroy the livelihood of several people now. To the owner: Stop the censorship, it will blow off eventually. Your product is very good, it just needs a few tweaks. Make the portions bigger and you are good to...

Really nice spot just a short walk from the Nivy shopping center. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is great — our waitress was super friendly and gave excellent service. Everyone speaks English, which makes things even easier.
We even got to chat with one of the founders, who was very welcoming and down-to-earth.
Now to the important part — the ramen! You know it’s legit when even Japanese visitors are regulars here. There are a few different ramen options (I went for the Spicy one). It’s a bit on the milder side, but the flavor was really good. The egg was perfect, and the noodles had a nice bite to them.
For drinks, we tried the new Lemon Sour and Grapefruit Sour — the Grapefruit was my favorite. Super refreshing and just the right balance of sweet and sour.
The space itself is cool too, with some great Japanese-themed art showing places like Shibuya and Shinjuku.
If ramen isn’t your thing, they also have other food options on the menu (we didn’t try them this time).
Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving real Japanese ramen...
