Great place that treats every aspect of a fine dining experience serieously. Welcoming, kind of 'old school' service: gentle, attentive, explanatory, formal but not too much. The staff is really doing their best to make you feel well cared for.
The food is very upscale. French-style techniques with a modern twist and in our case mostly based around Slovakian ingredients. It was very well prepared and presented. The Wine pairing was excellent and well thought through.
It was really nice to meet the chef afterwards, which gives you the chance to talk about what you just experienced.

My wife and I reserved a table on 6 January. When we arrived we realized that the restuarant decided to open on that day only for us! We couldn't believe it. Later we learned that 6 January is a public holiday in Slovakia and people don't visit restaurants on this day.
First we were shocked and felt ashamed that "we made" the place to stay open only for us. But then our host, Mr. Sisak did an amazing job in entertaining us and the whole dinner was a blast.
The food is excellent. My favourite dish was the one made from bryndza (sheep´s cheese), onion and dessert wine. I also love the local specialty that is served on a spoon.

As i have no previous fine dining experiences, i might be biased, but the whole service was excellent. Every meal was carefully prepared and had a subtle and thoughtful taste built in to it. Wont spoil the exact details, as it is an experience to be felt in person. Paid 50E for 7 dish tasting menu and 3 drinks (+tips).
