Coffee is good. Good barista. Decent coffee beans.
This cozy cafe is situated in a beautiful part of the town, with a nice interior and comfortable furniture inside, aswell as outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and the service is good.
The choux pastry is delicious. Oozing syrup and cream on the inside, delicious fluffy choux pastry on the outside, topped with a delicious decadent cream.
I was conflicted about the food though. For We both ordered the Eggs Benedict (€6.90 each) - one with bacon and one with salmon. My husband orders eggs Benedict from different cafes very often and he quite liked it here. He says the bacon was beautifully done, tasty and melt in your mouth, however there was hardly half a mouthful of the bacon in total. Similarly, the salmon was quite nice, but hard to tell when there was not enough to actually taste a single mouthful. The hollandaise sauce was very light. The addition of beetroot was a nice touch. My biggest gripe was that the dish was ruined by the use of a single slice of the cheapest sandwich bread, which somehow infiltrated every mouthful with a stale soggy feel.

Read moreDon’t go to this place! I travel to Slovakia very often but never experienced this expensive restaurant. It really was a sad and disappointing experience.
We went to have lunch and we chose to select a piece of meat from the butcher next door (owned and managed by the restaurant as well). The waitress after we selected the piece of meat didn’t mentioned the price it was going to cost us which is highly unprofessional and deceptive.
The meat was average, not a premium cut at all and very chewy.
After receiving the bill, shocked, we asked the waitress how much the meat was going to cost us if we wanted to take that very same cut home with us and cook it ourselves. She mentioned 14€. Well, FYI, that steak in the restaurant costed 100€!! This is for a single steak. It doesn’t include anything else you might want to order on top of that. ABSOLUTELY MENTAL and you cannot justify it.
You would normally pay this amount in Michelin start with a course menu in a major European city.
We have been scammed and I really hope future potential customers can stay far away...
Read moreDrove to this cafe after reading reviews. Decided on “choose you own meat” to have cooked. NO PRICE ON MENU for this, meat in the market we selected was €3.27 /100g so €32.70 a KG. We asked for medium it came rare (with a sauce and sweet potato fries as noted on the menu)- we didn’t complain and just ate it. Got the bill - we were charged .260ks at €145 so €37.70! That’s about €30 to cook a steak and serve it - they charged extra €4 for the fries! When I asked to speak to a manager - a women came out who just dismissed me saying that cooking, sauce, service and staff. When I asked why no price on the menu - she just smirked. No offer was made to help or fix the bill, they offered to give me the managers phone number, when I said I thought you were the manager. Very disappointing, and really ruined our...
