One of the few restaurants I visited during my two week stay in Slovenia that emphasizes quality instead of quantity. Also, surprisingly not every item on the menu contains fish, meat, or is just a burger with fries. The interior is both minimalistic and strong. The music played is modern, recognisable for people aged 30-45-ish. Three stars for the atmosphere due to, well the guests at the moment. When in Celje, LALU is a must-visit for any foodie. An experience that blows me away even a day after. Great whisky and wine selection, perfect background soundtrack and professional, but friendly service that can handle an honest critique better than most. The food? What a hidden gem (at least for us) we found in Celje! We were searching for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon this restaurant which turned out to be an absolutely amazing choice.
