Gostilna & Pizzerija Bor — Restaurant in Kranjska Gora

Massive disappointment. Was abruptly told "No pizza today" after we entered. Given the price, the quality of the food was below average. Especially since in Kranjska Gora you can get a delicious meal food half the price. For 5,5eur I asked for a beef soup - was told to get it myself at the table at the bar, then I found out it was just the liquid with no beef in it and I could add some carrot and bread balls. It was warm but not hot. I went to get a second plate since the first wasn't even full (I had to bring it to my table myself) and was charged two portions. Unbelievable. The tasting plate for 44eur for two we ordered was okay to eat at best - the meat was dried and the vegetable rice simply weird. The staff didn't actively serve us though we were the only guests in the restaurant. In general, we'd have left at the beginning hadn't it heavily rained outside. Don't recommend...

A great restaurant with authentic Slovenian cuisine (and some others of course) and unbelievable views.

I'll start with the view, anywere around you, you'll see mountains and hils and enough green to make you smile. The service was excellent, quick and all the people there were friendly.

As for the food, we opted out of eating Slovenian cuisine, but the picas and salads were top notch! Also the prices are not that high!

A warm recommendation from me and my family to anyone looking a nice place to eat, with nice people and breathtaking views of Slovenian...

Very disappointing. Beef soup starter were like a pack of instant noodles (no beef). The pizza was extremely salty a soft crust with very low value cheap toppings. After mentioning this the waiter apologised and said he had given us a discount however we found they had actually not done this and had charged us extra!
