When going to the Slovene skiing resort I expected it to be quite bad, but not SO bad. I have been to different skiing resorts in Ukraine and Europe and they were much better than this one. Firstly, I’d like to say that the nature there is beautiful, however, I cannot even imagine how did owners and staff of the ski resort manage to make it this bad.
Small ski resort perfect for a family holidays.
Kranjska Gora is a ski resort located in Slovenia, in the Julian Alps near the border with Austria and Italy. It is known for its stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The resort offers a variety of runs for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, as well as a number of other winter sports such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, and snowshoeing. One of the standout features of Kranjska Gora is its location in the heart of the Triglav National Park, which offers a wealth of outdoor activities and natural beauty to explore. The resort is also relatively small and uncrowded, which can be a nice change of pace for those used to larger, busier resorts. There are also a number of restaurants, bars, and shops in the town, as well as a casino for those looking for some evening entertainment. Overall, Kranjska Gora is a great choice for skiers and snowboarders looking for a more laid-back, family ski experience in a beautiful...
Read moreWe couldn't have hoped for any better ski resort to have our first family ski experience. I believe this ski resort is in particular best for beginners mainly as those looking for intermediate and advanced slopes will have limited choice. We have chosen this ski resort to start learning to ski as family due to (1) being affordable (2) having good ski schools with good english speaking instructors (3) having good beginner slopes (4) having snow artificial guarantee (5) very nice Alpine mountain views and village. The ski resort has met and exceeded our expectations and we have all learn a big deal and we finally also did ski the most demanding beginner slopes! It was an unforgettable experience!
