Based on other reviews, I had very high expectations from this place.

The steak was nicely cooked as requested, although slightly uneven through its surface. The seasoning was not very astonishing; it left a few unchewable parts and one with a strong pitch of vinegar. But the steak had overall good flavour, and was the best part of the whole meal.

The bread was bland, dry, and tasted old, which was a shame because it looked like it was made in a wood-fired oven.

The grilled vegetables as a side-dish were mostly grill-tasty; some of the potato chunks in there, however, were almost raw and definitely not cooked enough.

The staff did't leave any special impression, nor did look especially interested to share knowledge about steaks they were offering. They weren't rude either.

Prices reasonable (about 20-22 EUR for various stakes) and a big plus for not charging extra for side dish and the horrible bread.

The final score is related exclusively to food experience. I was expecting more from this kind...

High end restaurant, great food quality, nice wine list and pleasant service! As a person from the city of Novo mesto, I’ve been a customer for a long time & I have always enjoyed the “Chef’s pasta”. Saying that, I love the fact that they offer an amazing “Tris di pasta”, where you can taste the finesse, technique and taste of their pasta selection. For the “Surf and/or Turf” lovers there are pretty amazing steak and seafood plates. Their Mediterranean tastes will leave you craving for more.

Don’t forget to try my favorites: Crème Brûlée & Panna Cotta!

I love the food here. They have excellent pasta and also great steak. I haven't tried their pancakes (crepes) but the group I was with was complimenting it. Parking space in front of the place is small and it is quite difficult to return to main road in the rush hour. There is a large public parking only 20m from there. The place can hold a small group of approximately 25 people but I would suggest it more for a quiet romantic couples meal. Toilet is clean but small.
