I recently dined at Pr'Pepet in Škofja Loka, and it was an extraordinary experience. The restaurant combines impressive architecture with a warm atmosphere, making you feel at home.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the local food, a true culinary treasure. Each dish, a masterpiece, showcased the region's unique flavours, crafted with care and creativity. The chef's personal touch on every plate made the food a reflection of the rich culinary heritage of the area. Each bite was a journey of authenticity and freshness that only local ingredients can provide.
What really set Pr'Pepet apart was the friendly staff. Their passion for the restaurant and its menu was palpable in every interaction, making us feel reassured and confident in our dining experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, gladly offering recommendations and ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect.

Read moreMy wife and I had a wonderful dinner here, and the owners and staff deserve all the praise they are getting. I can't say I blame Yannis at all for that, if he were a slave to the kitchen there's no doubt his enjoyment of it and what he...
Read moreI had a pleasant experience. The waiter is welcoming and you're treated like a guest and not like a tourist. The food concept is simple and contains vegetarian options as well.
I had the pork stew with paprikas. It was done well, simple, cost effective and tasty. I spiced it up with a homemade hot sauce (made by the neighbor) and everything was grand.
The desert was a little triumph, as it started as a surprise. The Apfelstrudel would have benefited from a slightly higher temperature. I think it was a bit on the cold side. The cheesecake was my favourite. But the chocolate tower was the bomb. The triangle nut cake had a great bite. The desert was a journey.
