First, advantages: very good fisch supplier, good work of the cook

Disadvantages: no English menu, the price for the portion is not the right one (for the fisch the price for the portion is not valid, nobody told us about that), not clean tables (everything stick to the surface), waiting time is unbelievable long (to make an order-20 minutes, to receive the meal- additional 25 minutes). As a final, the bill was 2 times higher than it was expected

Resume: the work of the front office should be improved (explain the price policy properly, mention the calculation approach in the menu, better clean the tables, hire additional staff to cope with peack hours)

Because of mentioned drawbacks cannot recommend...

One star is for very nice surroundings. Nice little street of Izola. Second star is for good quality of food, Tuna steak is very nice! Then... waitress who can barely speak english, when i asked her, what she would reccomend but she just makes a big eyes, and says nothing. More than half of positions in menu, were not avaliable. Seasonal salad is just tomato and lettuce. But what had suprised me a lot, was a fact that on our bill, was bread that i did not ordered, but we get it to one of dishes, and i think it was a part of it. The waitress was not suprised, she knew it. Prices are also high, side dish is about 4-5 euro, beer also 4.20 euro, i think there are nicer...

Don't bother. This place is a total rip off. Maybe if you are local it's ok, but the food is, at best, mediocre. What bothered me is that the waitress totally played us for tourist idiots. We tried to order a half carafe of wine with an appetizer. She insisted that they only had bottles and suggested a plate of assorted appies. The total bill was more than a huge (awesome) meal we had last night at De Pino, in Treviso, Italy (where everyone told us how much cheaper food would be here). Odd, since the local couple who sat down after we did were given a carafe and a huge plate of similar appetizers for less than half of what we paid. Buyer beware. Wish...
