Vera gostilna in pizzeria — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

The food at this pizzeria is generally very good – tasty dishes and friendly staff. However, our visit was overshadowed by a very strange and unpleasant experience.

There was a local man, seemingly a regular, who sat loudly dominating the space with just a single €4 beer in front of him. He wasn’t just loud – when politely asked to lower his voice, he became aggressive and verbally attacked other guests.

Even more disturbing were his offensive remarks about people from other countries of the former Yugoslavia. According to him, they “still live in communism” – a bizarre and inappropriate statement in a public place.

If you spot a stocky, bald man sitting alone with only a beer, be prepared: it might not be the dining experience you were hoping for.

By far the best Pizza I have had in a long time!! Better than most ones in Italy! Pleasent atmosphere, amazing stone oven and nice staff. Pizza was perfekt! Great crust, perfectly baked - absolutely amazing!! Will definitely recommend and will return to Ljubljana just to eat that pizza again. They also have amazing hot sauces too. Voluntary of course but they did offer a complementary glass of milk! Home brewed craft beer sealed the deal!! 10/10...

Vera belongs into Top5 of the BEST pizza places in entire Ljubljana, great place when you are hungry and want a great pizza put it's not in city centre of Ljubljana. Most good pizzerias are in the city centre, but this one is outside the city centre, very near Bežigrad, Savsko Naselje, Nove Jarše, Zelena Jama and BTC area.
