I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amber on Bree, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a delightful lunch. The decor was tasteful, creating an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. We were greeted by attentive staff who guided us through the menu with expertise. The selection at Amber on Bree is a testament to culinary creativity, offering a diverse array of dishes that cater to various tastes. The menu boasted a fusion of flavors that left us excited to explore each option. Our lunch started with a selection of appetizers that showcased the chef's commitment to quality and innovation. The presentation was impeccable, reflecting the restaurant's attention to detail. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving a lasting impression on our taste buds. Moving on to the main course, the culinary journey continued to impress. The dishes were not only visually appealing but also showcased a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident, enhancing the overall dining experience. What truly stood out was the finer dining experience that Amber on Bree provided. The service was impeccable, with the staff being both knowledgeable and courteous. They anticipated our needs and ensured that every aspect of our meal was met with precision. The ambiance of the restaurant lent itself to an unhurried, relaxed lunch. The attention to detail extended to the table settings, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere. It was evident that Amber on Bree values not only the culinary aspect of dining but also the overall experience they offer to their patrons. In conclusion, my lunch experience at Amber on Bree was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of delectable cuisine, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere made it a memorable dining occasion. I would highly recommend Amber on Bree for anyone seeking a refined and exceptional dining experience in the heart of Capetown Yours truly They call me Charlie

If you're looking for a mature, romantic ,sexy date night and suave atmosphere, live music, or want to host an intimate dinner or event , Amber on Bree will not disappoint. I visited on multiple nights, and this place consistently provided 5 star customer service from everyone I've encountered on any night I've visited. There is street parking, and it's easy to locate. It's in a safe area and has no load shedding, so you can enjoy uninterrupted brunch, lunch, or dinner here. You're greeted with a smile and seated and served ìn a timely manner. They have an exceptional team on staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome every time, no matter what crazy off the menu requests we had. (Special Thank you to Juan (Manager) , Dumisa ( Thanks my guy-Amazing Waiter) , The bar staff, Eros, Khaniyisa, (the mixologists that helped me often), and "Davido"👐🏾 (the man with the master plan lol) , the hostesses, chefs and everyone for an excellent experience. I enjoyed a consistent level of exceptional customer service, food ( favorite was the Carbonera w/ penne ) drinks ( favorite was the Side Car 2.0) , and magical moments here. I highly recommend everyone to come enjoy live jazz, or DJs , top tier service, and great vibes here. They have indoor , bar seating and outdoor seating with heat lamps on the patio for those cool and windy Capetown nights that created a sexy romantic ambiance. If you're traveling to Capetown or live in the city, this is a place you must venture to for a sexy night out. You won't be disappointed.

The new kid on the block and definitely making waves. Amber on Bree is definitely growing on me and not only because I live very close or that it's on Bree Street, which is the street to be on of late, but because of the vibe, the staff and ambiance. The staff are so welcoming, attentive and service orientated. They really know how to make guests feel special and attend to your every need. I've only had great service on every occasion I've been there. The manager Juan is always 'on' and I've been helped by Blakey, Randy and Trent, who have always been efficient. The food is quite good, as yoi can see by the pics. I'm not sure that I'm a fan of the food that much, may just have been an off day in the kitchen on the day I decided to eat. I've added a few pics for your eyes to see and decide. Presentation and pricing was good though. The aesthetic is also very inviting and the restrooms on point. Overall, I really enjoy this place and enjoy going back, over and over again. It's one of those places whose charm you can't get enough of. Head over to give them a try.

IT'S 2025 RACIAL DESCRIMINATION IS SO REDUNTANT!!!! We spoke to the hostess and she had informed us the place was fully booked, but she would make a plan & later on in the evening should she need to move us would that be fine, we agreed and explained to her we wanted to have a few cocktails before ordering our food as it was still too early for supper. I kid you not! An hour and half later this lady comes to us and says we need to move coz it's close to the time of the guests arriving, which we did not have a problem with. We than ask where are you moving us to? She than tells us 'unfortunately we do not have any tables available', so are we supposed to hold all our drinks in our hand, drink standing or pay and go. She leaves comes back a few minutes later and politely asks as to please finish up our drinks coz she needs the table. We informed her that we were unhappy and do not appreciate how she is treating us. Under pressure now had to rush ourselves and finish up the cocktails we had ordered. Upset as I was got up went to the bar to ask for the owners email address, was told I am not allowed to ask for that and if I have a problem I can speak to the manager. I than explained that with everything going on if she wanted to address the matter she could have come to us at anytime while we were seated because we spoke to our waiter when he came to our table and he did say ' I will explain the situation to my manager'. The hostess came a third time and basically told us we need to leave. We asked for our bill payed and as I was leaving went again to ask for the owners email address, was given the card of the manager who had ignored us the entire time. The manger than came to me, asked what's going and at that point felt I did not want to talk to her we had been complaining and she never attended to us. Asked who do I complain to, she said her and explained, how you have allowed us to be treated I don't want to talk to you. She than said she will escalate it to her senior and I asked for that person's email address, coz how do you escalate something without taking my details. The petronizing attitude was...

It’s aesthetic appeal may tempt you to walk through their doors however, I had a lunch encounter here that put me off. I emailed the manager + sent a message on social platforms with no response: Good Afternoon,

I’ve just come from your restaurant and realised I was charged incorrectly for lunch I had.

The order summary is as follows: 2 x R95 lunch specials 1 x Coke @ R25 1 x Ice Tea @ R35 The initial ice tea tin I was given was dirty (it has a brown liquid on top of the can + some dirt in the crevices of the circular line around the tin (I’ve tried to explain this as best as I can) and I only realised this post pouring it into my glass. I then requested for another Ice tea only to be billed for it. The total bill came out to R285 instead of R250.

The lunch was okay - The rump wasn’t medium as I requested but rather well-done.

I paid R350 for (payment attached) this email inclusive of the tip which I feel was very generous for despite the slight disappointment in the food. The fries were banging though - so big thumbs up for that. My sister also enjoyed her meal and quoted it as the best sandwich she’s had.

I am not expecting a refund for the additional R35 I spent on an Ice tea I didn’t even drink, but would like to bring this matter to your attention to:

Ensure that this doesn’t happen to another customer in future Encourage your staff to look at the beverage tin before serving it to their customers Ensure food is prepped in the way the customer would like it

These are small things that, when taken seriously as the manager of the restaurant, will ensure a pleasant dining experience, generous tip and favourable reviews on your establishment.

Just something to consider. Kind...
