Roman's Pizza Ben Fleur — Restaurant in Emalahleni Local Municipality

This service is unacceptable. I ordered a delivery at 18:36 pm , the cashier stated the order will be ready in 20 min. After 30 min I followed up and had to follow up several different times. I spoken to management 3 different times and they stated they will call the driver and come back to me. The driver called and stated he was at my gate after an hour. I went out and the driver was nowhere. I called him back and gave my adress again as he was at the wrong adress. I called management after waiting 15 min outside as we only live max 10 min away. Management stated the driver was at my house. After 1 and a half hour I canceled my order as I still did not receive anything. The driver arrived with the pizza 20:19 pm. The driver stated that it was not his faul as the slip printed and given to him was not clear he also stated that he had to pay for the pizza if it is returned. I had to pay for the pizza, when opened it was ice cold. This was the poorest service I have ever received. Ordering food and waiting 2 hours for it ? Totally unacceptable and I will not recommend Romans...

What a joke. Firstly, struggled to get them on the phone. After 30 minutes of trying finally someone answered, just for them to cut me off. Drove there, placed my order, lady very dismissive towards me when I mentioned the phone incident. Didn't even apologized. After 30 minutes of waiting, I enquired how much longer my order will take, again was dismissed by the lady in the front. Didn't even get a reply, just turned her back on me and spoke to the kitchen and then carried on with whatever she was busy doing - definitely not answering the phone as it just rang incessantly. Waited impatiently for another 10 minutes before my order was ready.

The service was appalling and the waiting time of 40 minutes absolutely ridiculous. Front of counter staff very unfriendly and could see they definitely didn't want...

This is now the 2nd time its happened to us so therefore I've decided to place this review. We ordered just after 5pm and was told our pizza will be delivered within an hour. Almost 2 hours later we still have not received anything. I phoned the store and they of course don't know where the driver is or how long ago he collected our pizza and don't have any information on whats going on. I get the driver's cell nr from the store and phone him. He says he's minutes away an low and behold arives minutes later. So sending my son off to play 2 hockey games without eating dinner, my husband went to bed without eating dinner and waiting just under 2 hours for Pizza. Service is going down the drain and it's more and more...
