I had an unpleasant and distressing experience at this establishment, 23 on Hazelwood, on 02/03/2025.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the floor manager, who informed me that there were no available tables and that I would need to wait until one became available. I patiently and willingly complied and waited for a table. However, as I was waiting, I noticed that several white couples were allowed to enter and be seated before me, despite the fact that they arrived after I did.

Additionally, when one of your black waitstaff informed the young white floor manager that there were available tables and suggested that we be seated, he was blatantly ignored. The floor manager’s dismissive and seemingly irritated response left me feeling not only disrespected but also unjustly treated.

The experience felt like an act of racial profiling, as I was made to wait unnecessarily while others, who had arrived later, were seated ahead of me. I believe this behavior reflects a lack of proper customer service and, more seriously, a disregard for equal treatment of all customers.

I am deeply disappointed by the way I was treated and feel that such discriminatory practices should not be tolerated in any establishment, especially one that prides itself on providing good service to all customers. I am asking for a thorough review of this incident and for you to take appropriate steps to ensure that all customers are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of their race.
