Good day, We have been regular customers for a while. My mom and I just had lunch there (23/11/23). We each ordered a half Nachos with chicken. R102 and something to drink R27. The waitress misunderstood and loaded an additional chicken strips for each meal on the bill R55 each. This is not the first time ordering it and I can confidently say it had no more chicken than usual. It is an honest mistake. We are all human and make mistakes. I don't know if Spur pays their waiters a minimum wage, but I would assume not. The manager (Short brown hair) refused to remove the additional strips from the bill and is making the waiter pay the R110. Apparently a bill can't be rectified after the bill has been printed. So this brings me to 2 major problems. That Spur makes waiters pay each time a bill is queried. It is totally in my opinion totally unacceptable and unconscionable . Or 2, the manager has the ability to change the bill and is refusing to do so. And in my opinion should be a fireable offence. Waiters don't make a lot of money. Yesterday afternoon, the 15th instant, I bought take away chips. I paid at the till I never received the receipt the lady told me that the till won't print. They kept on commenting amongst themselves ie the staff about the chips price having gone up. I sat down for a short while and decided to go to the parking lot to inform my son that I'm at Spur. I returned to Spur and decided to sit outside and wait there thinking that when my order is ready they will call me inside, To my shock the chips were ready in a jiffy, they didnt call me inside instead a nervous waitress stretched out her hand to give me this cold package without coming out of the door. I took it and I was left puzzled by her conduct. When I got home and trying to serve my family, to my dismay, the chips were cold, hard and dry. We couldn't eat them. I felt so embarrassed.
