This is most definitely NOT a four star hotel. First off, parking is a huge problem. The restaurant is not open during weekends. No towels in rooms. After requesting towels, management brought us one towel with a hole in it and said we have to wait for the rest until morning as they were out of fresh towels. All the linen is dirty and have holes in it. Other guests were loud well after midnight, maa asking it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was cold and service poor.

Very clean, very homely. The owner is friendly with staff superb with world class service. Open honesty bar đŸ» that stops operations at 9pm. Excellent adherence to COVID-19 protocols. I highly recommend this hotel. I had a peaceful sleep

What a nightmare this place is!!!

Not a 4 star. Barely pushing 2 and that’s being generous.

When we arrived we got checked into a room with a running toilet and no key. Staff treated us like we were an inconvenience upon our arrival, not even making eye contact or helping us out at all. The lady initially tried to get us to stay in a room without a key, saying “you can lock it from the inside.” (And how does that work when we leave
?) We ultimately had to move rooms because of the noise of the toilet (as she did find the key), but I almost had a bad fall on a tile that is totally broken and a major hazard.

New room has ONE towel. Staff wouldn’t get us a second when asked, so we had to go back into the unlocked old room to raid their bathroom just to get one. (That room also only had one towel).

Rock hard bed. Shower that blasts you with freezing cold and hot water. No face cloths or tissues. Terribly laid out room that is very inconvenient to move around due to bulky, excess furniture. ANTS everywhere in the bathroom. Broken fridge with a horrific smell like something dead. Outlets that don’t even work. But all of that could be categorized as an annoyance. What made this a nightmare was they have a locked gate that you can literally never find staff to open. One day when leaving we had to run around for ages looking for someone as we were locked in and we were made late. Then on our last night, we went out to get dinner and got back around 10:45pm. In Torrential downpour. So much rain the streets were flooding. We ring the bell 3x, no answer. Called the number probably about 15 times, no answer. We were locked out in the middle of the night, no way to access the room we paid for with all our stuff in it!!

We resorted to Yelling and Screaming until our throats hurt. Shook the gate. Violently shook the gate, trying to make enough noise for someone to come. No one came. Kept screaming. I lost it and swore a lot on their answering machine but I was really pushed to the brink by then as this was truly insane. Freezing, soaked through, our dinner bag had broken as it was so wet.

Finally, after ages, someone finally opened the gate
right as we were trying to figure out how to jump a gate with security wire all around. What a joke!!! We will never be back.

Invest a little and give your guests a damn code so they can operate the gate...

Not about the venue but purely about the staff, In traffic today (outside of the rebel food market) one of the branded cars skipped a stop sign and after I used my horn, he (white male, 20-30 years old) proceeded to get out of his car, use foul language and told me to get out of my car threatening to ‘beat me up’. Not that this is okay in any circumstance, but I can only assume he approached the situation this way because he could see that I was a young girl alone, and not an older man who could defend himself. I think that this situation can be quickly remedied by the owner, but having a member of staff that verbally assaults and threatens to physically assault young girls is more than a disciplinary matter and should not be taken lightly. I can only hope that proper consequences are handed out as quickly as this man...
