WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!!
My friends and I being indian guys away from home(Durban) had a craving for curry so we decided to go to Bhanjaara in Fourways (Leaping Frog) 04/02/2016.
We arrived there to place our orders and the guy tending the orders was very unfriendly to start of this very dramatic lunch experience. We placed our orders which was a Chicken curry with rice (R76 ea) and a Chicken Tikka wrap (R45 ea), the guy then asked us if we are sitting down to eat or take away. we responded by saying we will sit down to eat as NORMAL restaurants allow you to do.
To our surprise he responded saying that to sit down we must pay R10 extra for each per person to eat the food that we paid for !!!
We finally got our food and not only did it disappoint by how it looked, but the chicken curry was absolutely bland. IT WAS NO CURRY !!! it tasted only of raw canned tomato that was just heated with huge unappetizing pieces of chicken. TO TOP THIS UNPLEASANT MEAL OFF HALF WAY THROUGH WE NOTICED A HAIR IN THE FOOD.
The chicken tikka wrap was tasteless although it had the correct coloring on the chicken. All you could taste was a burnt taste from the roti which gave a terrible aftertaste.
Over all this was the worst experience that we have ever had at any restaurant, they have terrible service, the worst tasting "curry" and are ridiculously priced even a 1L Coke is priced at R24.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, RATHER ATTEMPT COOKING THE CURRY YOU CRAVE AT HOME which will be 10 x more...

We ordered Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Rogan Josh. Same basic sauce, tastes like the Chicken Butter sauce but I got loads of sugar in mine, no peppers as arvertised and he got same sauce, a bit of cinnamon and spices. The reheated chicken was dreadful, overpowering suggesting it wasnt the first time it was reheated and the lamb was like cardboard with no flavouring, a step up from mine.

Read moreI'm am furious. I get sent the wrong order. After phoning the restaurant they agreed to rectify it and send the correct order. It gets sent with an Uber driver, who they somehow cannot track and the food is now missing. So I am now out of pocket on my expensive meal with nothing to show for it and absolutely zero offer at a solution from the restaurant. "Next time" we will fix it. How exactly are you going to remember me "next time"? Unacceptable that you will send things off with untraceable drivers and then make it the problem...
