I just want to thank the staff that worked today. Nompumelelo and some colleagues called me. They resolved my query quickly and delivered a meal that was fresh and tasty.
I recently had a disappointing experience with Douglasdale KFC. I contacted customer care and was told to drive to the store to return the meal, which was inconvenient since it was an online order and I used their delivery service.
However, KFC contacted me this morning and offered to deliver a meal for free, which I accepted. I appreciate their effort to rectify the situation. I hope this was just a one-time issue and that their food quality will remain consistent.

Here is my previous review: "The meat today smells like perfume. It’s disgusting I couldn’t eat it. I’m so disappointed because I regularly buy from Douglasdale KFC. Never had any problems before, but this is not it. You can’t make us eat meat that has a funny smell.
I called customer care and the people responsible for delivery (call centre)told me that if I am unhappy with the product I must drive to their establishment.
Mind you, this was an online order, and I used their delivery service. Now I must spend more money to go to the store and return the meal. If I was able to go to the store, honestly I was going to buy the food in-person to begin with.

It doesn't happen with this particular KFC, most of the time they don't have certain potions eg when requesting for side breast and a thigh, they'll tell that we don't have thighs we have wings & that's annoying coz one knows what he enjoys most. When coming to hot wings same applies they l'll say we don't have these parts we have these. My observation is that there's no management here who monitors, everyone do as they please. When you go there on a pay day it's sickening, they have their music gadget they play it loud while dancing and laughing loud. Read moreThey assume everyone has a smart phone and is paying by card, as you can only order via the self service screen inside the KFC. Drive thru queue was very long... The app is slow. When you eventually get your slip, there is nobody to help you. Your number flashes up on a screen then disappears forever. So you stand... And stand.. Eventually you flag down somebody in the back. So you have paid for icecreams with flakes. They have no flakes. And they expect you to have cash change on you, to refund you. And then chicken bucket is put in a bag but has no lid on the bucket..
