Burger King Glen Marais (Drive-Thru) — Restaurant in Gauteng

Bad service ... And not the 1st time!! Staff are more interested in talking to each other and hanging onto or over the service counter, before they notice that there are customers.

When you finally order, they cannot get your order right because they do not listen or they assume what you would like to have when you order more than 1 item (ie we wanted an Original Chicken buger meal & a Big King burger meal, but the cashier put it through as Whoppers at first without asking what option we would like).

When our King fusions arrived, they were both ony 3/4 full in a small cup. When I asked if they could please add a little more to fill the cup, we were met with ATTITUDE because, according to them, the cup is full if you remove the lid. But, since when is a cup full, when the contents are 2-3 cm from the top of the cup??! At least 1 digit of a finger could still fit into the cup from the top to the ice-cream!! With a previous order, one cup was only HALF full and the other almost 3/4 full. Also in small cups ... And the order received was incorrect!!

This used to be a favourite spot for our family to order take out foid, but at this raye, this branch will not see us very soon again...

I was met by very disrespectful staff. There is a seperate entrance and exit which i totally understand for covid purposes, what I don't understand is why the entrance would be placed at the back of the building, away from the parking areas, it's very confusing. When I walked in through the exit, the lady cleaning very disrespectfully told me to go around. I did so. While filling in my details, another lady walked in through the exit (proving how confusing the whole thing is). The lady cleaning said nothing to her and simply allowed her to enter through the exit and just make her way to the entrance to fill in her details. This made me feel as if she helf more respect for her, because why couldn't she have told her the same thing she told me, and why couldn't she have told me to go around respectfully. As for the lady behind the counter, she didn't look like she wanted to be doing her job. The ice cream machine was broken, so i couldn't get the milkshake I drove so far for, and i just wonder how much effort is put into fixing things like that because they really inconvenience us customers. I'm never going back there, I'd rather try the burger King in norkem park with much...

Due to the fact that our electricity has been off for 3 days. Tonight we decided we would have to eat out. We frequent burger king often and decided to purchase a meal for our family from Glen Balad Mall.

We ordered a Family King Chicken Deal and a bacon loaded fries. We were informed that the chicken would take long. When we stopped at the first and second window there was nobody to greet us. We waited and i heard somebody sneezing and coughing in the kitchen. This was heavily off-putting.

We were told to park close to the entrance and wait for our order. Which we did.

Upon arriving at home and much to our suprise. Our order of bacon loaded fries was not in our order. We could also not contact any burger king franchise or even the head office.

Proving that burger king deserves its 2.8 rating and is reliable as our electricity in South Africa.

The chicken was terrible and my child had hair...
