This morning me and my father went to Piattos Glen Ballad for breakfast, we ordered an Express breakfast and oats we waited 25 minutes and nothing happened no one came to inform us what is happening while other people who ordered after us got their food first. We decided to pay for the cool drinks and leave when we asked to see the manager the waiter first had to fetch the manager who was next door, when she arrived she did not ask the problem just said "The order was only placed 20 minutes ago you can expect the food to be ready yet as it takes time" this isnt necessarily something bad to say but it was the way it was said she talked down to us the entire time and her main concern was that we were cancelling the order and not unhappy with the service or the way we where being treated by the manager. We were there in total for half an hour and not once did the manager come to our table to ask us how the service was or if we needed anything and this is highly unusual for a manager as all the restaurants I have been to the manager normally asks multiple times if we are happy or we need anything. We have been to other Piattos and they have made the same order in under 10 minutes as well as other restaurants, but the worst by far was how we were treated it felt almost as though we were lower than dirt and since we are paying for it I find it unacceptable.
Edit: We were contacted but I was informed that they will check their camera's first and then get back to us this was over 2 weeks ago still waiting, in all honesty this place doesn't seem to care about customer's unless you remain quiet about the shocking way you...

Tuesdays were the best for my friends and I. Because of Covid, I had been reluctant with social dining. I have, however, visited other restaurants that I knew were properly compliant. This month, is my anniversary month. I decided to take my partner to continue celebrating milestones; Iāve know this Piatto since 2018. Iāve received the best; but today⦠No. The guy who served us last; showed everything opposite, he was not even meeting us halfway when we reviewed his behaviour addressing him politely; not even. When we have Pizza Tuesdays, we enjoy the wine mostly, and normally leave with a takeaway to further reminisce the previous evening. This time, after such a long time, It was bad. He had attitude, we tried being nice, he was just bad. Another lady outside was packing the chairs, he had a conversation with he; and then, this lady kept walking outside giving us dirty looks together with the guy who was serving us. However service on arrival was slow. The Tuesday we arrived - A waiter at the door quickly showed us to our seats - passing a few other waiters/waitresses who where standing at a counter - and then we where left, raising a hand to get attention did no good, it took getting up and walking over to them to get service. An apologetic waitress then came over and took our order. The food was good. We decided to go back today, Thursday evening, and give it another try - again shown to table quickly, slow service thereafter - not good since we where early and restaurant was quiet, drink order was incorrect - we ordered dry red house wine, dry white was delivered, food was again good, on leaving there was a bit of a jam at the door with waiters blocking the doorway, chatting, making it difficult for customers to exit. Again the general atmosphere and food is good, service just very slow and no sign of management...
