Unfortunately this is the 2nd time in 2 years I have attempted to enjoy this drive thru experience. And both times it has been awful. We had a school function close by to this venue last night and it finished a 8.30pm and my wife and kids were very hungry and as this was close by we popped into it for a quick experience. 40 mins in drive thru later, I can confirm another very poor experience . Drive thru ‘s are supposed to be well organised and efficient not mundane, slow , completely inefficient and unfriendly staff who refuse to apologise for anything like waiting 20 mins in a queues with 6 cars, not 20 cars, or that you wait another 10 mins to pay and another 10 mins at the window to get the food because there is only 1 person putting the food and drinks together on a Friday night which I assume is their busiest evening of the week. What this says is that the kitchen is not organised, the brand and the franchise owner don’t care as they are not involved to fix the problem and they know people will continue to support the business. Well overall speed of service is shocking at 9pm on a Friday night, no customer friendliness from any of the staff , not enough staff on duty yet the master franchise owner only cares about the franchise fees and marketing fees. The only way to stop this is not to support his business. Also filthy and disorganized. Read moreHow sad! I usually go to Bedfordview's Burger King and never had any issues!!! Northmead's Burger King should go get training at Besfordview's branch! I stopped over the weekend at Northmead's branch and was told I could not get the special as I did not have the app. I downloaded the app ready to place my order of 5 x surprise burgers and asked the lady to please hold the tomato as we are allergic to it and she refused. I asked why as their will actually benefit by using it for anothercustomer. She said 'It is the special'. After an argument I picked up on something. I asked her if they are pre-packed. She said 'yes' and that is why they could not give without tomato. As they were not busy I stateted that it is not freshly made as ordered! So I changed the order to 1 x burger meal and told her I am not going back there. She gave me no apology. I thought perhaps she had a bad day so I went there again today, ready with my app and thought I don't want an argument again, so just ordered 4 x surprise burgers and take the tomato off. How disappointing that 3 of the 4 burgers were chicken. Unfortunately the pic does not show the chicken burger, but empty box. One of my passengers ate hers in the car. You may argue that is what the surprise is. Sure, but not 3 of the same out of 4!!! On the side of the box are numbers. Why not tick them so that there are no dubbles/triples given to one customer? I ordered food from the Drive-thru as per usual at 19:05. Upon my arrival at home, I noticed that a complete meal (Extra Long Chili Cheese and Chili Cheese Bites) was missing from the package.
I immediately phoned and spoke to the supervisor (Raymond Makhudwane) on duty. He apologized for the missing items and said he will immediately sort it and send the driver to deliver the missing items personally to my residence.
Approximately 40min later, Raymond contacted me back stating they had no drivers available at the moment and requeated I should return tomorrow morning to collect my meal.
Is this the correct way to treat customers if the fault is with the staff not fulfilling their duties properly to make sure all items are packed before handing it over to the customer???
At 20:30 at night your branch expects me to accept that my meal that I paid for can only be collected the following day, and I should spend the night without a meal!!!!! Don't think any person will be happy to be treated in this manner.
This is NOT the first time that Benoni Northmead branch has packed fewer items than what was ordered. This is an ongoing issue with this branch.
My meal was eventually delivered at 21:00 (two hours from the original order placed). But to be honest....I'm too scared to eat the food as they might have spat on it as per the videos circulating on social media of what the Burger King...
