As a frequent visitor to South Africa this is a restaurant that I make time to visit. It's not a cheap restaurant and for the quality and menu I'd not expect it to be. The owners come to each table and go through the specials and WOW are the specials. On more than one occasion I have been forced to indulge in more than one starter and more than one desert. I was looking for an olde worlde, throw back experience to the super fine restaurants of years gone by. That is exactly what I found. Elegant, quiet ambience. A personalised service, great food and 30 year old bottle of red I am still dreaming about. The owner clearly has a substantial collection of very well cared for wine, and I so appreciate his willingness to share it with his patrons. It was outstanding. Thank you for a lovely...
