Ordered pizza tonight for delivery from Del Forno Glenanda. What to total flop and absolute disappointment. I honestly can't believe they still exist and people still support them with their terrible pizzas. Ordered a chicken pizza. When it arrived I thought they made a mistake by delivering a cheese focaccia. On a closer inspection digging through a cheese we found some a very small pieces of chicken. There were slices of the pizza that didn't even have a single piece of chicken on it. So disappointed in their pathetic pizzas. My suggestion to anyone in the area looking for a pizza is not to waste your time or money with Del Forno Glenanda. Not sure if it's all the Del Forno outlets or only Glenanda. My family and I finally decided to try out our local gem, Del Forro, after living in Glenanda for almost 2 years. We usually head to Sandton for our classic dinners, but tonight's experience might just change that! We ordered 3 massive portions of 800-gram pork ribs with crispy chips, a rich serving of Alfredo pasta, and two sides of veggies. The pork ribs were incredibly tender and the Alfredo pasta was divine, though the vegetable sides could use a bit of an upgrade.

The service at Del Forro was top-notch; the staff was friendly and accommodating despite the fact that the food took a bit longer to arrive. However, when the dishes finally made it to our table, the wait was entirely worth it. Every bite was bursting with flavor, explaining the numerous 5-star ratings this restaurant has received.

What an absolute disaster to a Mother's Day celebration. We called the Glenanda Del Forno store just before 2pm to make a reservation and enquired about a special which was confirmed. We were told a reservation was not necessary. We arrived at 6pm only for the owner to deny any knowledge of the special in a rather rude and public manner and he refused to call the staff member that confirmed this with us. He kept us waiting for 45 minutes as he needed to confirm with head office. Despite us showing him the special on their website.
