So would give 1 star but since its new I know they are still ironing out the kinks. Margherita wise they have the formula right, but the rest is where things start to go downhill. Don't know if it was because it was a busy Friday but myself and several other tables had complaints regarding poor service in regards to their extremely poor timing. One family only had half their meals come out it seems at the same time and the rest quite a while later. In my case being only 2 people, it was the first time in my life I have spent more than 20 mins waiting to pay a bill as our server seemed flustered with something happening in the kitchen and we were promptly forgotten. Quesdilla and tacos were alright but nothing to honestly write home about. Blooming onion and churros hands down worst I have ever had in my life. Forgot to take pics of blooming onion but it was one of those what I think I look like vs what I look like meme worthy contenders. The person who said best churros must have been very lucky or talking about a different place. I have definitely had way better churros in my life and honestly a R1 magwinya would have outdone what was put in front of me from a culinary standpoint. I did take a pic of the churros and if anyone has had a decent churro, please imagine my surprise seeing the brown oblong shapes pictured. Worst still they were not even cooked fully and batter was still wet inside. Longest google review I have ever written but my goodness did I go in with such high expectations only to be left very...
Read moreIt was pouring with rain so mu friend and I thought we'd check this place out and wait for the rain to stop. Well I most certainly did not expect the sarcastic and rude comments from the manager or owner I'm not too sure of who he was actually. The door was open but it didn't look like they were quite ready to be open. So I walked in and asked as I didnt want to be rude and just sit down. This guy looked at me with this look on his face and said "well are the doors open?" This took me by surprise as I didnt think someone would talk to a customer like that. I asked a few other questions and got sarcasm back. We sat down anyways as there wasnt really anywhere else to go. The menus look like a grade 7 in computer class did it which is unfortunate because the vibe of the place seems quite cool. But how am I supposed to read a size 9 font? We ended up just grabbing a drink because as we sat there this owner or manager was just so loud and obnoxious. Hopefully if you're going there you'll get...
Read moreI booked here for my aunts bachelorette and it was the best decision I’ve made! From the start they were really helpful with regards to advice on what food, drinks etc we could do for a large group.
As I arrived yesterday they knew exactly who I was and all the tables were set out and ready for us to decorate. The space was so airy and clean, and even smelled really good. I felt at ease from the first moment.
Now… the food and drinks. The gentleman I spoke with recommended that we do platters, sangria jugs and non alcoholic margarita jugs. I ordered 4 platters for a group of 17 of us and the food was MORE than enough. The platters are huge and every single item delicious and fresh. I was blown away by the taste. The sangrias were also delicious and the margarita jugs were so refreshing for a hot day.
I cannot fault a single thing, the service and atmosphere were also 10/10.
If you are looking for a place to host an event, I would recommend Don Pablo’s and wish I had planned my events...
