Steers Columbine Square — Restaurant in Gauteng

Arrived at 18:05, waited until 18:27 to place order. Cashier that served me didn't greet or speak at all. I ordered 2 Original King Steer combo's. She rung up 1 and I had to repeat my self several times for her to get it right. I waited until 18:55, I eventually told her I wanted to cancel my order. She just ignored me, then I spoke to the cashier next to her. The second cashier kept telling me not to cancel as my order is done and will be packed shortly. I insisted on getting a refund and was eventually given my cash at 19:03. The staff at this branch definitely need better training. And I would appreciate it if they would wear gloves when handling the rolls and garnish. I am not the only person that got frustrated as another person also insisted on a refund. I have been a supporter of Steers since the first branch opened in Yeoville/Bellevue many many years ago. And this has been my worst experience by far. After leaving Columbine I drove through to Newmarket branch and from the time of arrival to getting my order it took 15min. Now...

22/04/2019 - I popped into this Steers to get two simple ice-creams. I was flat out ignored. The lady behind the counter stood with her back towards me, and the front of the shop. I thought it was just because they were busy. After several minutes - and still no acknowledgement Another customer who was in the shop, looked at me and said they can at least take my order - she was horrified - said she would have already lost it in the shop. I still didn't say anything. Then another customer walked in - and got immediately attention. I think besides me - you lost other customers that day. Service was absolutely disgusting. I was deliberately ignored. It was clearly noted you don't need the business - I will be sure to pass...

I placed an order last night at 7:45pm - and hour later my order does not arrive, they don't even have the courtesy to call me and let me know whats the hold up. I wait and then call them and they tell me that my order is ready but they are waiting for a driver, they use debonairs drivers but they are on their way.

12 hours later and the order still has not arrived. WHAT A JOKE. This is disgusting service. No apology whatsoever...
