Fishaways — Restaurant in Gauteng

I had a very disappointing experience at this Fishaways branch. The service was terrible from the start, the lady at the counter was unfriendly, did not greet back, and showed a very poor attitude. To make things worse, she did not provide any cutlery or condiments with the order. The food itself was no better. The fish was over-fried, tasted like it was off, and the portion sizes were much smaller than expected. Overall, the quality was far below standard. First purchase from fishaways we will never return... the prawns were so small the rice was full of hard pepper pieces we paid extra for bigger size fish but was smaller then the normal size that usually comes with the meal...customer service was great but the food was not value for money big no no for me I don't usually do reviews but this had to be noted to save others from...

When I stopped in front of the shop, the staff already waved at me and gave me brilliant smiles. They rushed and met me at the door with the biggest welcome I ever received. At the counter, I was greeted warmly and also directed to specials. The food was fresh and tasty....
