Reporting poor service on Google is a last resort for me. I have tried calling the store several times but there was no answer, called customer care and I was supposed to get a call back and nothing. This is the third time in a row that I have had poor service from Fishaways Polofields. The last time I recieved the sauces that I purchased with the meal two hours after the food was delivered and the time before that the store took the liberty of simply not informing me that an item was not available and then simply left it off the delivered order. This time around, they have managed to do even worse. I placed an order for a sushi platter, a hake fillet, a hake hot pot and some calamari and some extra tatare sauce. The delivery guy came around with a delivery of only the sushi platter. I called the store several times to request this to be rectified and there was no answer. The delivery person who kindly waited whilst I tried calling managed to get hold of someone at the store and he informed me that the store was aware of the missing items and asked him to come back and fetch the missing items. About 15 minutes later the driver returned with the balance of my order. Foolishly I believed that everything was sorted and I accepted the balance of the order. Again the sauces that I paid for were not delivered and this after the order was supposed to have been sorted. Then to add insult to injury, the medium calamari looked like what I would call a micro. Read moreIf i could give 1 star for this establishment and what was experienced today i would! I normally frequent this franchise along with its neighbours,Debonairs and steers with the family. Previously never had an issue with the wait but wow tonight ws bad. Placed the order on the app at 19:05 pm , paid there at 19.14pm because nobody bothered to even check on the que. There were alot of us waiting in line and 1 staff member behind the counter who didn't know left from right as to how clueless he was. We eventually paid for our order for family of 5. Waited till 19.50 and still no food. The "manager" who is worse than the gentlemen behind the counter doesnt even communicate with the customers as to how long we have to wait further ... just goes on to continue having his own discussions in his own language with the kitchen staff,turning his back on us all waitin for an answer as to how much longer we will have to wait. I then requested a refund as i refused to wait any longer as my kids were now starving and frustrated from having to wait that long. 50 min n nowhere near having our food ready is ridiculous. I dont think i will b visiting this establishment any time soon as the one customer there said this is now the 2nd time this has happened to him .
You guys need to really train your staff on communication skills and development. They suck at it ! Poor management, poor kitchen handling , poor line management, poor cash register handling, everything was just bad . From it being a place we once loved coz its a one stop shop with the variety of foods we can have frm all 4 takeaways ,this has left a very poor taste...
Read moreI arrived at Fishaways Polofields at 18:15 to place my order. I was advised by one of the staff to use the touchscreen to order and pay. I had ordered a platter for 2 as well as a side of calamari. After completing my order, I waited approximately 15mins until my ticket number appeared on the board for collection. I handed over my receipt to collect my order at which I was informed it wasn't ready. The kitchen had not received my order and they were visibly confused upon seeing the receipt. The staff then started preparing my order. After another 15 mins my order was apparently ready. Upon checking my order I had found that it was just a single hake and chips (Not a platter for 2, no calamari). I was then told that the slip that was printed out did not indicate to the kitchen what was in my order so they were unsure. After explaining what was supposed to be in my order to the confused staff they again tried to prepare my order. After another 10 mins my order was ready again. This time the fish was not fried properly and just thrown into a small box. Additionally, I was not given the calamari that was ordered and was told by the staff that there's no calamari in my order even though it was listed on my receipt.
