Grillo's Roadhouse — Restaurant in Gauteng

What a disgrace!! Bought here for many years..

Last night i spend almost R600 on dinner for me and my family (Takeaway).

Out of all the food that we have ordered (Full rack of ribs with chips and onion rings, toasted cheese burger, footlong vienna, small chips and a toasted ham & cheese sandwich.) this is our feedback.

Full rack of ribs with chips and onion rings - Ribs had no basting and was super dry, the char was taken to a nother level and could rather be classified as burnt, the chips was dry with no salt or basting of the ribs and the so called onion rings was dry and hard with little to no real flavour.

Toasted Cheese burger - Was really not worth the money. Small patty and little garnish with alot of sauce causing the toast to be soggy. i would definitely not recommend this.

Footlong vienna - It seems like this was scored then dunked in oil for no longer than 5 seconds and served....

Chips - Was cold and Not fresh at all.

Toasted ham and cheese - Was probably the star of the night seeing it must be so difficult to prepare.

When i phoned in this morning to give management this feedback.. the lady infront (Irene) was very rude and put the phone down in my ear after requesting to speak to management multiple times.

Shame on you...

I made a payment with my card, the slip comes out and reads. Transaction Declined: Unable to go online, Offline approved, the waiter starts risen his voice at me. Fighting with me that the card was declined, I tell him that it declined because their machine was offline. His in fighting mode not listening to me, by the way he gave back the card to me. I give him back the card and ask him to apologise once it approves, it approves and he does not apologise. He even denies fighting with me, I go to management and they don't even care. All I wanted was an apology from the gentleman, the supervisors did not even call him to apologise. They could careless, due to that I will never support Grillos Benoni ever again....

Grillos roadhouse(Benoni Central) can be accessed from both directions of the N12 using the Tom Jones off-ramp or the Great North road from Farrarmere or Kempton Park.

Grillos serves great food (including family sized pizzas),drinks (cold drinks ,beers & wines)

The attendants / waiters are always friendly and will serve you well. They also do takeouts (you must call them to make arrangements for collections)

Their milkshakes are great with (Lime ,Strawberry ,Banana & Chocolate flavours) being the most sought after.

As I live nearby , it's always been a good time to eat at or arrange a takeout from Grillos , so why not give this...
