I’ve been a regular customer for around five years and have often brought friends along. The food and service used to be excellent, in fact, the owner would sometimes offer complimentary pieces of cake as a kind gesture to frequent customers, which I always appreciated.

Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a decline in both food quality and service over recent visits. On one occasion, I even paid in full but left the food unfinished.

Today, I stopped by for my usual cappuccino, but the foam appeared off. I mentioned it politely, suggesting it might be an issue with the milk or the machine, and simply expected a replacement made to the usual standard. Instead, the manager came over and implied the problem was because I had left the coffee too long, despite the fact it had only just been served.

I was quite taken aback to be blamed rather than having any effort made to resolve the issue. For context, I always order two cappuccinos during my visits, so I’m very familiar with how they’re normally prepared.

Given the manager’s attitude and the overall decline in quality, I regret to say I won’t be returning. I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that it’s taken constructively, as this used to be one of my...

Quaint cafÊ and bakery with creative flair. We started with a cute printed cat caffè latte and panda printed blue velvet butterfly beverage (caffeine free with hints of banana). Quite pleasant especially for those who are looking for a sugar friendly caffeine alternative. You can select which prints you would like on your hot beverages as well as provide a picture. Our waiter, Prosper, recommended a platter of the sharing plates which consisted of chicken schwarma, chips and a garlic dip. Plates of plain hummus, hummus with beef, tabouleh salad. Falafel plate, which has a hummus dip and tahini, gherkins, slices of tomato, chillies. Flatbread, deconstructed beef scwharma plate with chips, gherkins, tahini and hummus. Fresh and Scrumptious. For dessert we ordered a lotus cake and coconut fruit cake. We were full so we had the coconut cake as a takeaway. Packaged in a little box that completely folds down to allow you to easily access the individually wrapped cake slice which is perfectly...

A hidden gem in the back streets of Rivonia/Edenburg.

This is the original branch of the Coffee shop/Bakery. The menu is quite extensive and has a lot of options for Breakfast/Brunch/Hot Beverages/Cakes/Non Alcoholic Drinks.

The restaurant is completely Halal and has some Lebanese dishes as well. Service is good and food comes out quickly. Tried two Lebanese dishes, coffee and crepe cake. And all the dishes were quite flavorful with the Lebanese sausage stir fried with onions and peppers as the standout meal.

On the day I visited, it was cold and so I chose to sit inside. The inside section is small and was quite loud as there were quite a lot of people in the small space. But on a nice warm day you can make use of the outside space where there should not be any issues. The shop is located with other businesses including a branch of Book Dealers where you can find some interesting reads. I would definitely recommend supporting them as well while you enjoy your...

I went here with my brother for his birthday, it was a little chilly out but the restaurant was very cozy and warm. There is a little book store right next door to add to the mood of this cute Asian-esque store. The food was actually really good, the waiter was extremely friendly and helpful and the desserts were unique and delicious. When I ordered, unfortunately they did not have a variety of crepe cakes except matcha however when I was leaving there was stock. We ordered the little Swiss roll cake and they were kind enough to write out a happy birthday for him. If you request specific designs (as promoted on their Instagram page) on your latte, be sure to go there on a quieter day when the barista has time to do these as he/she does not do it on request when it is busy. In terms of being halaal, there is no alcohol served here nor pork, they are in the process of being certified as halaal. Overall I would highly recommend this place for your Sunday brunch or high tea.
