My recent Uber Eats order from Long-Jian, featuring their Long-Jian Style Pork Trotters and rice along with a side of Grilled Pork Ribs, was a delightful surprise from start to finish. Right away, the packaging set a high standard. This wasn't just any brown paper bag; it was a clever, insulated bag with sturdy handles, thoughtfully stapled to keep the contents perfectly warm. A plume of steam even escaped when I opened it, a testament to its effectiveness. The food itself certainly didn't disappoint. The pork trotter was incredibly meaty and coated in a delicious glaze, a true highlight. There should be a warning though that all the wait staff take their lunch at exactly the same time on a Saturday around 3pm so there is no one to serve you. They were all in the restaurant, but they were not available to help us. We only figured this after we had ordered. There was 1 lady left to sit at reception and she looked at her phone the whole hour that we were there. We had to go ask for cutlery or anything we wanted. It was almost like buying from a food court. They should have actually turned us away and told us to come back in an hour or so.

This place is 10/10. From the moment you walk inside, there’s a vibe that other neighbouring restaurants around it don’t have. The cool wall just takes it to another leve👌I actually appreciate the lady who took our order at the counter, she was friendly, helpful and engaging unlike the other Chinese restaurants we’ve tried. The food was very reasonable, affordable actually. I will be going back whenever I feel like Chinese food. We tried their chicken wings for 30 bucks for a pair and it just made sense, I’ve never tasted wings like that.
