KFC New Redruth Village — Restaurant in Gauteng

This is now the second KFC that has done this to me. I placed my order at the intercom (streetwise 5 with chips and a buddy sprite) and then proceeded to the pay window where I was told that the till wasn’t working and that I had to go inside to pay as the order has been placed but I just need to pay. So I then parked and went inside. I went to the till and asked the lady if I can pay for my meal that I had placed through the drive through and she looked at me very confused. She then told me to go and place my order at the touch screen order station. I then told her what the ladies at the window told me and she disappeared to the back. She then came through the staff door and told me that I needed to order the meal again, I said no thank you and walked out. So basically I was manipulated into coming inside to re-place my order because you guys can’t be honest and get your act together. I’m so tired of KFC’s bad service… I love their food but honestly imma just go somewhere else...

I’d like to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience I had at your New Redruth branch.

I quickly went out for lunch and chose to use the drive-through, as I didn’t have much time. However, once again I was asked to wait for my order — even though I only ordered a Crunch Burger and a medium Pops. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this branch.

The purpose of a drive-through is convenience and speed, but at KFC New Redruth, it feels like the complete opposite. After waiting far too long, I decided to rather go to KFC Florentia, where I placed and collected my order in under 10 minutes — efficient and exactly what I expect from KFC.

I’m truly disappointed, and this will likely be the last time I visit the New Redruth branch unless there’s noticeable improvement. I hope this feedback helps your team review the service...

I ordered 2 Wicked Zinger boxes. They stated I would have to wait 10 min for the Zinger patty would I rather like a colonel burger instead. I said no problem I will take the colonel burger. Got to the window and paid and proceeded to the pick up window. The lady said I will anyway have to wait 5 minutes for my order do I mind waiting? Waited for about 5 minutes and the lady brought my boxes and then stated they dont have coke which was an option and my choice of cooldrink. So I opted with fanta orange. Got home ate my fries which tasted old the food was cold I only stay 5 minutes away. The zinger wings did not "zinger" at all they were normal chicken wings. The colonel burger was so small I though it was a snack burger. I am very disappointed in the quality of food I received. This is also the second time I had to wait...
