McDonald's Benoni Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

I enjoy this Macdonalds for a quick snack . I like that one is able get juice for kids instead of fizzy drinks.

I also like the option of being able to get corn instead of fries when ordering a happy meal option.

The happy meal toys are also a nice treat for the kids and they are able to collect them when there is a series or a specific theme.

I also enjoy the flapjakes for breakfast with the maple syrup, always a nice quick treat when I am on the go .

Some times I have a coffee too , however I find the coffees to be a tad bit too hot as they do not add milk. Perhaps an option to add milk or cream might be nice as then the coffee would not be too hot .

I must admit I also have always enjoyed the Macdonalds fries, for some reason they are far more tastier then any other skinny fries options currently available at take out facilities.

This of course is just my humble opinion & there again not necessarily how everyone else feels about the fries.

I also enjoy the ice cream , however find the Milkshake to be too much.

Over all a nice experience when it comes to fast food outlets and a nice time saver when in a rush and if one has a child that is fussy and generally likes the odd burger on occasion and we have been in the car for a while.

So yeah I would recommend this establishment as a option when needing something to eat or drink should one be in the area.

We went through the Drive Through and I wanted to redeem a voucher. The guy at the window rudely told me to go to the window so I did. We placed the order. I redeemed a code for a burger and 10 nuggets. He asked me for the sauce flavour I said Jalapeno. I continued to list what I wanted, he asked for the sauce flavour. I said Jalapeno again. After listing everything, I asked him to read my order back to me which I was ignored and made to sign the slip and go to the next window. At the next window, we got our food and one of the items were missing that I asked for. I told them that even if I have to pay for it it's fine, but I asked for it. So they made us park and go inside for the item, which was a regular chips. So my boyfriend went inside and it took so long just to get the chips, which when he got back to the car for us to eat, he realised it wasn't salted. We each ate a nugget, which had a weird taste and smell, either it's expired or the oil is old. No serviettes. And no dip for the nuggets despite them asking me twice. The burgers were nice and that's about it. Probably...

I would like to share my dissatisfaction at the service received at this McDonald's. I was at the till and stating my order and the lady at the till said she couldn't hear me. I then raised my voice so she could hear me better and then she said that I shouldn't shout at her, she is also a human. I was baffled at her claim and told her it's because she couldn't hear me. And then followed to ask her what I should have done differently. She said I should have lowered my mask or leaned in closer towards her. I couldn't understand her request because it's covid times and the regulations clearly state our masks need to cover our noses and mouths and we need to keep a safe distance from others. And these are the same people who say they won't help us without our masks but yet she wants me to remove my mask so she can hear me better?

I am really not impressed with the way she handled the situation and her suggestion to deal with the situation. Her tone and attitude was not appreciated at all. If she was having a bad day she shouldn't take it out...
