McDonald's Gateway PTA — Restaurant in Gauteng

I am utterly lost for words at how appalling the service and overall experience at this branch was. I never leave negative responses but the service I had from servers and management this morning 5/28/2021 @ at 7:09 am was terrible for such a great and trusted brand. I ordered my children a kiddies meal with a burger and corn which was promised as a reward for passing a test with full marks the day before and ordered myself the new "Spicy Nuggets" which I was told that they don't have only after the transaction was completed and was offered standard nuggets instead (honestly, nuggets were not important since we just wanted to test out the new product), it was the children's school lunch that was the main issue........ I was then told that the kiddies meal does not come with corn by the female "manager" since the cashiers couldn't locate in on the system (rather strange since the children only eat corn and not chips whenever they have MacDonalds) after telling the manager that we always order the corn she then agreed to "do me a favor" and took the boxes back. She said they just going to swap out the chips for corn. After waiting till 7:38 am I advised that we have to leave and that the children were already late for school and My partner and I were late for work. We left in a rush without food or a refund as we had no choice, the manager didn't tell me that it would take almost half an hour for our food. I was told to come back later to get my food...I am waiting on feedback from Head Office on how this matter will be resolved as I have lodged a formal complaint. I will not return to this branch since this is not the first time we had problems here. It's very unfortunate and also disappointing since the branch is located in an incredible location, unfortunately, the unprofessional and untrained staff certainly affects this branches name and...

Really need to work on the employees they hire. The person taking the order was so nice and took the order perfectly. Ordered a McFeast for 3 and a Grimace shake.

Paid and went to the window to get the food. There, a lady gave me my food, but not the shake and also not nugget sauce. I then asked for the Grimace shake, and she shouted to some of her co-workers. They asked her to stop complaining, but she kept going on. After 5 minutes, she asked me to stop at the next window, where she would bring me my shake.

I then drove to that window and got comfortable while I waited. Eventually, after 20 minutes, I went back to ask her about the order. I was not happy at this point. I asked the lady if she was done with the shake, and all of a sudden, she never saw me in her life and had no idea of any shake. She apologized sarcastically and made the shake.

I could mot believe how arrogant the employee was. She started to complain about making the shake and it even annoyed her co-workers. Then she "forgot" about the shake and the sauces. On top of that, when asked to finish my order, she was sarcastic to me.

I really hope the manager of this place gets to...

We were driving to Hammanskraal and we passed by McDonald's to get food on Saturday morning the 29th of October,we bought a beef sharebag via the drive thru and as we get to the collection window the lady gave us our drinks and asked to park at the parking lot as they're still preparing our fries it will take only 5minutes. We waited at the parking lot for about 20minutes until i walked in there to ask about our order only to find them still doing the fries and the rest of the food wasn't packed inside the bag yet,and now the manager had stepped in the kitchen to help out cause the employees were slow and now a lot of people that bought via the drive thru are coming in complaining cause they've been waiting,After waiting for my food for so many minutes,the fries are half done,saltless and the nuggets are half done too we had to throw all 4 packets of fries and the box of nuggets too cause they were not edible/consumable. What a waste of my money. Why open and take orders if you're not ready and lie about...
