I have difficulty in remembering the last time I received such poor customer service. The person who answers the phone in the first 2.5 hours (9am-11:30am) before they take a 2.5 hour lunch break (11:30am-2pm) either is unable to answer any specific questions or is not allowed to. This woman simply tells you to email. If you try to get an answer to a question she will just talk over the top of you, interrupt you, and eventually hang up the phone. So rude! The staff in this office and their terrible customer service are a disgrace to both Taiwan and South Africa. The service was so terrible that we eventually booked a flight to Cape Town to deal with the Liaison Office there. This cost us the expense of a hotel and a roundtrip domestic flight. Our experience dealing with the Cape Town Office was the exact opposite. They were polite, helpful, and efficient. I recommend if you are able to choose between the two that you are far better off heading to Cape Town rather than dealing with this office in Pretoria. If you, unfortunately, have to deal with this office, prepare yourself for rudeness and laziness on the part...
