I buy a R200 meal here several times a week and I tip the staff well. On a day that it was snowing in JHB I stepped inside and sat down to wait for a takeaway I ordered. I had my 4kg poodle with me who is perfectly potty-trained, has been there with me many times and the owner told me politely that dogs are not allowed. This may be their policy but it was short-sighted and I do think there is a bias here. People who have travelled will know restaurants in many first world countries do allowed well behaved dogs there. I wont support this business again. South Africa in general needs to wake up to better animal policies. Many patrons and staff are not as well behaved or clean as my dog is.

I bought a milkshake and banana muffin at Mugg&Bean at Cambridge Crossing. It was disgusting including the waitress attitude. I spent R54 for the milkshake and R45 for the muffin, this was not worth my money. The muffin didn't taste like banana. I won't recommend this place to anyone. I will never support Mugg&Bean ever again. The waitress thought that she was talking to an idiot.

The service was great, Thembi waited on us. The food was just fair, left a lot to be desired. A little bland for my tasting. It was a pleasant change to be able to swap potato fries for sweet potato fries. The chickpea and butternut salad was nice. Not the fairest M&B but all in all a fair enough experience.

We normally order from Mugg and Bean Peter Place every Friday for the office, but today they don't have power, so we decided to place a pick up order from Mugg and Bean Cambridge Crossing. It was the Worst pick up order ever, at 8:00am we placed a big breakfast order for our offices, with a guy named, it took him 10 minutes to place the order, cause he was so slow, i had to repeat myself over and over, i then asked him for the total of the order and he then said he has to put the order into the system and he will call me back to give me the total, i had confirmed my cell number with him and asked him to repeat it to make sure, and to my guess, he had the number wrong, so i corrected him and confirmed with him again. By 8:30am i realized the time and had still not heard back from Albert. so i gave the shop a call and spoke to a lady, she then gave me the total and said the order was ready. so 20 minutes later i hadn't heard from them and we hadn't even left the office to collect the order yet, as we had not been informed of the Total. so by the time we our food gets back to the office it will be about 45 minutes to an hour since the food has been ready, this is disgusting service from Mugg and Bean Cambridge. Especially for...

Best advice don't go there, don't order to collect or deliver, don't even try, they burn toast, their tomatoes are shocking, they pack miserable food, presentation class was certainly missed here, I've ordered the Big Ben on 4 occasions with staff ordering as well, the egg is always wrong and they always both different, yet it's the same meal, this place needs a serious wake up call, their MUFFINS ARE TO DIE FOR THOUGH THAT BAKING LADY WHOSE LIGHT IN COMPLEXION MY GAWD CAN SHE BAKE, they must improve though overall on presentation and stop burning food. I've returned all the food back on all occasions and got the correct thing but the admin of going up and down is unnecessary only business they get from...
